SUMMARY: This position is responsible for a broad range of human resource functions, including employee relations, safety, employee development, employee involvement, employee communications, succession planning, training, recruiting/onboarding, and benefits administration. The position is also primarily responsible for the scheduling of customer shipments, maintaining accurate customer releases and daily communication with JVIS customers. This position reports directly to the General Manager.



  • Prepare daily reports in CMS and for payroll/labor purposes
  • Review/reconcile invoices
  • Create purchase requisitions for needed materials
  • Track attendance through timesheets and process payroll
  • Maintaining Human Resource Policies and Procedures relating to training, employee development, safety, employee relations, compensations, and benefits and recruiting
  • Comply with the applicable provisions of State and Federal Laws.
  • Coordinate the plant safety program in conjunction with the General Manager and take an active role in managing workers compensation injuries and reporting
  • Setup shipments to customers conforming to their individual requirements
  • Review post shipment documentation to ensure that all requirements were met
  • Pull EDI releases as required by individual customer requirements
  • Input all manual releases into MRP System as they arrive from customers
  • Reconcile JVIS Shipping History Accums to match with customers
  • Communicate with customers and report any scheduling issues
  • Participation in taking physical inventories


Follows all safety, housekeeping (5S) and company policies and procedures. Maintains compliance of IATF 16949.

Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years' experience in an office or manufacturing setting with supervisory skills required. Manufacturing/Plant experience preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish required.  Proficiency in CMS, MS Office, and spreadsheet programs required. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to contain confidentiality. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
